Obama Regime's Shenandoah

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

I place before you the interesting progression of the Civil War in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, in the telling orders from General Grant, that General Sheridan was not only to deplete and confiscate stores for the Confederates, but to literally make POW's of all men under 50 years of age.

The slave was gathered up not for emancipation, but like so many mules, horses and oxen, so that absolutely no crops could be planted in the next year.

General Grant did not advocate scorched earth in burning buildings and General Sheridan was deployed not to make the Union loyalists undue more suffering, but not many are aware of the fact that Virginia in the Shenandoah was depopulated by the United States military as a sound doctrine of warfare.

The following transcripts reveal all of this.

"CITY POINT, Va., Aug. 16— 3: 30 P. M., 1864.

"MAJOR-GENERAL SHERIDAN, Winchester, Va.:

"If you can possibly spare a division of cavalry, send them through Loudoun County to destroy and carry off the crops, animals, negroes, and all men under fifty years of age capable of bearing arms. In this way you will get many of Mosby's men. All male citizens under fifty can fairly be held as prisoners of war, not as citizen prisoners. If not already soldiers, they will be made so the moment the rebel army gets hold of them.

"U. S. GRANT, Lieutenant-General."

"Do all the damage to railroads and crops you can. Carry off stock of all descriptions and negroes, so as to prevent further planting . If the war is to last another year we want the Shenandoah Valley to remain a barren waste.

"U. S. GRANT, Lieutenant-General."

"Notify all citizens living east of the Blue Ridge to move out north of the Potomac all their stock, grain, and provisions of every description? There is no doubt about the necessity of clearing out that country so that it will not support Mosby's gang. And the question is whether it is not better that the people should save what they can.

"U. S. GRANT, Lieutenant-General."

The closing statement by General Sheridan is the reality of warfare and so much the more of life. Death is not the worst event which overtakes a person or a population. It is being impoverished which brings about the subjection of the people.

"Death is popularly considered the maximum of punishment in war, but it is not; reduction to poverty brings prayers for peace more surely and more quickly than does the destruction of human life, as the selfishness of man has demonstrated in more than one great conflict."

"General Philip Henry Sheridan"

This is why the Obama regime and the cartel is confiscating all American wealth, as they know by this means they will make subjects of all those foolish Americans who think they are free in the Obama gulag.
